Permanent lip makeup can be used to enhance the shape of your lips and increase their natural fullness. We offer three treatments: lip liner, lip blush, and full lip colour.
Lip liner treatments are recommended when your lips have lost their definition, whether due to the natural ageing process, scarring, or cold sores. This technique is to revitalize the lips.
Lip blush treatments can enhance the size of your lips and rebalance them if they are not symmetrical. We apply subtle colour to give the impression your lips are fuller than they really are. In this procedure, it won’t look like you are wearing lipstick. The pixel effect is what makes the difference between the other techniques in the micropigmentation world.
If you want a more dramatic look, select our full lip colour service. Choose from a selection of shades, ranging from subtle to bright. Add extra definition or go for the full “wow” look. It’s a lot less painful than lip fillers!
Initial Consultation
As with all our treatments, we will book you in for an initial consultation. This is where we discuss your expectations and what we recommend for you. It’s a chance for you to ask us questions if you are unsure of anything.
We will draw contour lines and colour, so you are confident about the look and shade of your lip makeup treatment. It’s important that you are happy with the proposed treatment plan before we begin!
On the Day
Permanent lip makeup treatments normally take around 1.5 hours to execute, but this may vary according to your skin type. Medical-grade pigment is injected into the dermal layer of your lips. We use specialist equipment to achieve natural, extremely precise results.
Following a treatment, your lips will feel and look swollen, so clear your diary for a few days until the swelling goes down.
Follow-Up Appointment
We will ask you to return for a follow-up appointment approximately 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment. This is when we review your lips to see how they have healed and then add more colour to any parts that need a touch-up. At this stage, we can alter the colour density, shape, and definition of your lips, to achieve the best results possible.
How Long Does Permanent Lip Makeup Last?
You can expect the results to last between 12 and 18 months, although this may vary according to your skin type.

Please note: ladies with darker skin tones may not be suitable candidates for permanent makeup. Darker skin has natural undertones in the skin pigmentation, which will affect the final colour of the lip makeup. In addition, if you suffer from cold sores, you should complete a course of anti-viral medication prior to booking a permanent makeup treatment and let us know you have cold sores. You will find that your makeup colour is more intense immediately after the treatment.
